  1. The mini marathon was hard and my legs were hurting for the last 1.1 kilometers and at the end we got a juice box and a poster to keep.

  2. Today was the mini marathon. The things I enjoyed about the run was at the end when sprinted through the finish line. But in the joged and walked. It told me that my fitness was alright but that I have to improve. Next time I'm going to try jog the whole way.

  3. I really enjoyed running and I felt really happy.
    Doing the Mini Marathon told me how fast I was and what a great athlete I am.
    I got 3rd Today next time I hope to get 1st place

      It looks like it was lots of fun! The mini marathon has certainly come a long way from when you first started doing it with your brothers and sisters - its great that now Otonga is sending students and this year I see that almost the whole school got involved! Fantastic!

  5. Today was really fun but as you would say we could not of done it without our teachers or he parents or wonderful Rotorua! Q1: What did you enjoy or remember about?
    A1: Well, I remember crossing the finish line and walking like a sloth!
    Q2: What did it tell you about your fitness?
    A2: It told me that my fitness is pretty good.
    Q3: Next time...: Next time I hope to get first rather then 4th equal!

    1. I think the mini marathon was hard, we had to run 2.9 km.

  6. The mini marathon was two kilometers long. I kept wanting to stop but everybody was saying ''don't stop!" We got cool t-shirts and name tags, some people won prize's and we got juice and a poster at the end.

  8. I really enjoyed the mini marathon and I think I did really well and I had so much fun doing the run and I am so glad that the teachers got us to do the mini marathon.

  11. The mini Marathon was really hard when I had to run as fast as I could at the end of the mini marathon but when I finished the run I got an orange juice so it was all right.

    that my fitness is really good

  15. Today was the mini marathon. We had to run 2 kilometers it was very hard because I and Kaydence, Ella-joe, Lilly got very tired of running to fast and got a stitch and some people fell over in the start and we had lots of fun.
